SHIROI Tips
What Are SHIROI Tips
SHIROI Tips are priority fees that users or traders pay to accelerate the execution of their transactions on Solana via the SHIROI infrastructure. They underpin the revenue model of SHIROI BBM and create a balance between speed, fairness, and validator incentives.
How It Works
A user or bot submits a transaction through SHIROI infrastructure (TPU Proxy / Bundle / Auction).
When submitting, they specify a tip—a voluntary fee for priority inclusion in a block.
BBM (Block Builder Module) accepts transactions, ranks them by tip rate, and runs a local auction.
Transactions with the highest tips win and are included in the block first.
After the block is published, SHIROI distributes the collected tips among participants.
Who Earns and For What
1) Validators
Receive a share of SHIROI Tips for:
participating in block assembly and validation;
confirming and broadcasting the block via Turbine;
maintaining network stability and availability.
This income complements standard Solana rewards (fees + inflation).
2) SHIROI Infrastructure
Receives a portion from each successful block built via BBM.
Funds are used for:
infrastructure development (TPU Proxy, Shredstream, Auction Engine);
operating expenses (servers, routers, analytics);
support for validators and developers.
3) Delegators
Indirectly benefit through a higher APR in the SHIROI Stake Pool.
The more traffic and transactions BBM processes, the higher the overall yield.
4) Builders and Traders
Benefit from faster inclusion and a transparent auction.
Their tips flow back into the ecosystem, creating a sustainable reward cycle.
Why This Benefits the Network
Transparency: every tip is recorded and available for analysis.
Fairness: inclusion depends on the tip rate—not on connections or privileges.
Sustainability: revenue accrues through real market mechanisms, not issuance.
Validator earnings growth: the more active the users, the higher the income for SHIROI participants.
Distribution Formula (example)
Validators
40%
For participation in block assembly and validation
Delegators
20%
Proportional to stake share
SHIROI Infrastructure
30%
Support and development of BBM and Shredstream
R&D Reserve
10%
Research, testnets, upgrades
Example SHIROI Tips Cycle
A user submits a transaction with tip = 0.002 SOL.
BBM accepts and ranks transactions.
The auction winners form the block.
The validator publishes the block → SHIROI receives the fee.
Rewards are distributed among participants according to the scheme above.
Data is recorded and exposed via the SHIROI Explorer API.
Conclusion
The SHIROI Tips model turns every network activity into a sustainable revenue source:
users get priority and speed,
validators receive real economic incentives,
the network gains a transparent block market,
SHIROI secures a steady stream of resources to develop infrastructure.
