What is BBM

SHIROI BBM (Block Builder Module) is a next-generation block production architecture for the Solana network, designed to improve transparency, efficiency, and fairness. BBM is inspired by the Proposer–Builder Separation (PBS) concept, separating the roles of block builders and validators.

Instead of validators assembling blocks themselves, BBM introduces external block builders that assemble and propose complete blocks. Validators verify them and relay them to the network.
